I don't know about you, but I love forums! I play a lot of games on my computer and on gaming consoles. Over the last couple of weeks I have found myself spending less and less time in games, and more time lurking in their forums.
Now, forums are intersting places, they can be full of the most wonderful information, of fixes and tips, or if not the actual fixes, then how to go about finding them. They can be frequented by knowledgable and helpful souls, or in the case of some gaming forums, forum trolls.
The forum troll is an individual that brings nothing of value to the forum thread, but is there just to wreak havoc or make fun of people, hence the term, don't feed the troll.
I only warn you of these trolls so that you do not get put off from visiting forums. They are full of great information when you are stuck with a problem you have never seen before.
So, if you come across an error that you have not seen before, or a piece of software just is not working right, take a wander onto Google, and search for the issue. Then stop in to your friendly neighbourhood forums and check them out - you will be surprised at what you find.
Have a great weekend!
